What's New in 3.0f
Installer:
- Prerequisites added to installer to address an issue with Office 2003 and .NET Framework 2.0
- Warning about Norton Antivirus only appears if Norton is found on the PC
- Installer checks for running Winword.exe processes before starting, and
- Installer no longer Starts a Winword process in the background during install or uninstall.
Functions:
- Font manager changes are applied properly on Windows Vista
- Notes boxes that contain bullet text are converted properly
- FS Quickstart toolbar installed and uninstalled properly on NON US windows versions
- Update document to this version will convert more than one 1.x style embedded table, and
- Update Doc to this version changes TOC Stem to Block Text.
Translations/ International:
- Several translation updates
- Font Manager and All Tables screen expanded to accommodate larger phrases in NON-English windows versions, and
- Order Style list in Paragraph Styles screen changed to reflect Hierarchy, not English alphabetical order.
What's New in 3.0e
- Support for Microsoft Windows Vista and Office 2007.
- FS Pro language settings are now used when starting a new document from the QuickStart Toolbar.
- Extra space was added to the Font Manager and All Tables screens to better accomodate non-English labels and text.
- Several translation issues in Danish, German, and Norwegian are fixed.
- Hanging indent on Bullet styles is correct.
- Move Tables Inside Block Gridlines no longer shows a runtime error when the document has a table already inside the Block gridlines.
- Delete Continue Page-Current Page only no longer deletes all continues in the Map or document.
- Continue All Pages no longer generates an orphaned Continued Line when a page ends with a table having fewer than two rows of Table Text.
What's New in 3.0d
- Support for Office 2007 in Compatibility Mode has been added.
- The error message "Only Word Document Can Convert to XML" that occurred when using the 'Save as Web Page' feature has been corrected for Office Word 2007 .docx files.
- Shortcut to the menu item was not working. This has been corrected.
- Issues causing the UI to sometimes open in German regardless of language selection, have been corrected.
- Danish and Dutch translation issues previously reported have been corrected.
- Bullet text 3 spacing has been corrected.
What's New in 3.0c
- Custom Table: Apostrophe in a custom table name will not cause an unhandled exception error.
- Delete Continue Page - "Current Page Only" will not delete all continued pages.
- Delete Table function will not delete other tables if there is no text between them.
- Embedded tables preceded by Bullet text are updated properly.
- FSQuickStart.dot and FSPro.dot are not assumed to be on the same physical drive.
- Inserting a TOC at the "Current Location" will no longer create an additional blank page.
- Invalid FSPro Menu Shortcut Key has been changed.
- Keyboard Shortcuts have fixed.
- Move Table Inside Block Gridlines function is available in the FS Pro>Update dropdown menu.
- Number Table Rows will not fail with continued embedded tables.
- Number Table Rows will update properly with tables that contain Shift (Schiff's) Devices.
- Oversized tables do not revert to normal size.
- Save as Wepage/XML does not return a blank page if the document contains embedded pages.
- Section 508 compatibility enhancements.
- Security Certificate has been updated with a valid expiration date.
- Translations: Danish issues fixed.
- Tutorial: Issues addressed running Windows XP.
- Update Document to this Version will no longer override Customized Fonts.
- Update Table Headers will work for Tables inside Block gridlines.
What's New in 3.0b
- Continue Page produces the expected results when the cursor is in a table that is inside Block gridlines.
- Converting to HTML and XML: Word bookmarks, bullets in note text and embedded tables now convert to HTML and XML .
- Exiting Word: FS Pro Quick Start Toolbar (FSQuickStart.dot) no longer prompts users to save changes when closing Word.
- Exiting Word: Users are no longer prompted to save changes to a document created by FS Pro that they have not edited.
- Font Manager: Clicking 'Normal' after clicking on any other style no longer casues a runtime error in 'Update Document Styles'.
- Font Manager: Help files have been updated.
- Fonts are now retained during update document process.
- Getting Started Wizard 'Agenda' document has proper "Block Text" style in all blocks.
- Install: The incorrect 'optional' prompt for installation of the Microsoft.NET framework is no longer displayed.
- Keyboard Shortcuts:
- Attach - ALT + Q,A
- New Doc - ALT + Q,N
- Remove Continue Page>Current Page Only
- 'OK' button is enabled when "Current Page Only" option is selected prior to selecting any other option.
- Using Current Page Only option while the cursor is on the last page of your document does not cause Word to freeze.
- Split Documents into Maps function is functional when your document has a TOC on first page and NO Publication Title.
- Tables
- can be inserted inside Block gridlines as expected when no Block text is present in the Block.
- tables inserted inside Block gridlines retain proper proportions when converted to HTML.
- 'Delete Table' now only deletes current table.
- 'Number Row Table' works as expected. Apostrophes are now handled correctly.
- 'Insert TOC' is now in menu and no longer creates extra pagemove tables inside Block lines.
- 'Update Document to this Version'
- now retains proper widths of Blocks and Tables in your document.
- changes "Block_Text" style to "Block Text" style as expected.
- no longer deletes embedded tables that were created by FS Pro version 1.3d or lower as in FS Pro 3.0.
- 'Update Topic>See Page Table>Options Screen>"Don't Show this Screen..." is functional and no longer causes a runtime error.
