Formatting Solutions Hints & Tips by Shelley Cotter, Client Services and Technical Support Did you know with Formatting Solutions Pro (FS Pro) 3.0 and higher you can customize the look of your document and save your settings? FS Pro 3.0 includes a separate application called the FS Pro Font Manager. The Font Manager allows users to change the properties of the default styles in FS Pro. How To Access The Font Manager The FS Pro Font Manager can be opened by using the desktop icon or by going to Start>Programs> Information Mapping>Formatting Solutions>FS Pro Font Manager. FS Pro Font Manager Screen The Formatting Solutions Pro Font Manager screen displays the Style List and properties that can be customized:
Customizable Style Properties Here is a table describing all the styles that can be customized and saved in FS Pro 3.0.
Updating Existing Documents The ‘Update Document Fonts’ function in FS Pro allows the user to update existing documents to reflect the customizations made. This function can be found under the FS Pro dropdown menu when you are in your document. Sharing and Creating Multiple Font Files The FS Pro 3.0 Font Manager contains detailed Help files with procedures on sharing the customizations with other users and how to create multiple customized Font files for different project needs.
