The Annual "IMAP Awards" Recognizes Unique Applications of Work Using the Information Mapping Method

We are pleased to announce our annual "IMAP Awards" for best examples of Information Mapping method applications. All entrants will receive a gift and special recognition. Four winners will receive a gift certificate and will be eligible to receive the Grand Prize, a free seat in an IMI public workshop of their choice, worth up to $1,495.
A winner will be chosen in each of the following four categories:
- Best Documentation or Training Material
- Best Policy or Procedure
- Best Business Communication, and
- Best Web Application.
The submission deadline is July 31, 2006.
Prizes
All participants will receive an IMI mug and will be listed on the IMI Web site with a link to their sites. The four winners will also receive a $25 restaurant or Amazon.com gift certificate and will be eligible to receive the Grand Prize, a free seat in an IMI public workshop of their choice, worth up to $1,495. All submissions will be featured
- on IMI's Web site, and
- in IMI's online newsletter, Insider Online, distributed to 12,000 people in leading organizations.
Guidelines
Submissions must include
- an explanation, such as the background or purpose, of the example
- the "mapped" material
- the "source" material, or the material from which the material was "mapped"
- a description of any measurable results, and
- contact information, including name, title, company, address, phone, and e-mail address.
Submissions may be of any length and in Microsoft Word, text html, or hard copy.

Deadline
The Submission Deadline is July 31, 2006. Winners will be notified by August, 31, 2006.
Right to Publish Submissions
Information Mapping reserves the right to publish and share all submissions. Participants will not be contacted for publishing approval.
