Your Chance to Shine!
Submit Your Work for the 2008 “IMAP Awards”

Do you use the Information Mapping method? Have you made a difference in your organization? If so, we’d love to see your work!

Information Mapping announces the annual call for submissions for our 2008 IMAP Awards. We are looking for the best examples of your applications using the Information Mapping method. This award is an excellent opportunity for you to gain recognition for the improvements you’ve made with Information Mapping and to show us how you’re using the Method in your organization.

The submission deadline is July 31, 2008. Winners will be notified by August 31, 2008.

Categories
Winners will be chosen in each of the following four categories:

  • Best Documentation or Training Material
  • Best Policy/Procedure
  • Best Business Communication, and
  • Best Web Application.

In addition, a Grand Prize winner will be selected.

Prizes and Recognition
Entrants will receive prizes and special recognition:

  • All entrants will receive a travel mug and special recognition on the Information Mapping Web site.
  • Four winners will receive a $25 restaurant or Amazon.com gift certificate.
  • The Grand Prize winner will receive a gift certificate plus a free seat in an Information Mapping public workshop of his or her choice, worth up to $1,495.
  • Winning submissions will be featured on the Information Mapping Web site and in our online newsletter, Insider, distributed to over 14,000 people in leading organizations.

Submissions
Your submission package must include:

  • a brief explanation of the material, including its background or purpose
  • the “source” material (the material from which the material was developed)
  • the material you developed using the Information Mapping method
  • measurable results, a description of the business problem that was addressed, or quotes from users, and
  • the submission form, with your
    • name
    • title
    • company
    • address
    • phone, and
    • e-mail address.
