2006 "IMAP Awards" Winners Announced

by Jason Murtagh, Marketing Coordinator

Information Mapping is pleased to announce the winners of our 2006 "IMAP Awards," highlighting the many outstanding examples of Information Mapping method applications from around the world.

Each entrant was asked to submit their best "mapped" document along with the document's original source material. A panel of four judges then chose the winners based on

  • how well the Information Mapping method was applied within the document, and
  • how successful the "mapped" document was in improving their company's written communication.

Our judges chose winners in four categories as well as an overall winner who they believe best implemented the Information Mapping method.

The envelope please...

Congratulations to our overall winner:

Greg Alexander of Hexion Specialty Chemicals

Mr. Alexander will receive our Grand Prize, a free seat at an IMI public workshop of his choice worth up to $1,495.

We would also like to congratulate our four category winners:

  • Lisa Sherlock of Comerica Bank - Best Policy or Procedure
  • Mary E. Tripp of Cape Cod Five Cents Savings bank - Best Business Communication
  • Neil Brace of Aurora Health Care - Best Web Application
